In a momentous and resolute move, the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) has officially dissolved all of its Diaspora chapters. This decision echoes the longstanding concerns raised by J.K. Adebola, a seasoned legal practitioner in the United Kingdom and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
After careful deliberation, the NWC confirmed last night that Diaspora chapters with executives will no longer exist, ensuring strict adherence to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The party will also introduce constitutional amendments to formally reflect these changes. The party will now have support groups in the Diaspora. As many as possible can register to be a support group.
The APC leadership thanks J.K. Adebola for his patriotism and sharp foresight in advising this compliance-driven approach.
