Nigerian hip-hop star Asake has made amends with his father, Fatai Odunsi, after a public fallout. The reconciliation comes after Odunsi accused Asake of abandoning him since his health began declining in 2022.

In a recent video, Odunsi confirmed that Asake has reached out to him and they have resolved their issues. Speaking in Yoruba, Odunsi said, “His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting.”

Odunsi revealed that Asake has promised to take care of his needs, including buying him a new house and covering his medical expenses. “Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems. They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything.”

Furthermore, Asake has committed to taking full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat. Odunsi stated, “He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child.”

The reconciliation between Asake and his father brings an end to the public feud, and it appears that Asake is committed to making amends and supporting his loved ones.
