My son often tells me, ‘Father, I want to continue your football legacy.’ And I tell him, ‘That’s a beautiful dream, and it makes me proud. But if you truly want to follow in my footsteps, then you must play for Cameroon. You have to work hard, because nothing I achieved came from laziness. Everything the world knows about me was built with Cameroon. So if you want to be like me, play for your country, Cameroon is your real home.
