Stand-up comedian IGoSave has expressed strong opposition to the House of Representatives’ directive to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to block access to all pornographic websites nationwide.

IGoSave took to his Instagram story to voice his concerns, stating that the ban would have a significant impact on many Nigerians. He asked his followers if they should organize protests against the ban, emphasizing that those who would be affected by the ban are also Nigerian citizens.

“This porn site ban go affect many Nigerians o! Should we help dem protest? Cos they are true Nigerians too,” IGoSave wrote.

Rapper Blaqbonez also weighed in on the issue, suggesting that the proposed ban is a sign of misplaced priorities. He argued that adult films serve as a coping mechanism for citizens during difficult times.

The proposed ban has sparked a heated debate among Nigerians, with many questioning the motives behind the directive and its potential impact on the country’s citizens.
