Croatia edge Morocco 2-1 to book third spot.

Croatia has defeated Morocco with two to one goals in the World Cup third-place playoff at the Khalifa International Stadium.

Even though Morocco was defeat, they still stand to gain alot by making history as the first African country to reach a World Cup semi-final. A bronze medal will serve as consolation for Croatia considering their dominating level from the early stages of the World Cup.
