In a move aimed at ensuring fairness and inclusivity, the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) has announced the extension of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the ongoing recruitment into the Local Government Councils and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

Originally scheduled for a one-day window on Monday, July 7, 2025, the CBT will now run for five days, from Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11, 2025. The extension comes as a proactive response to the significant online traffic and accessibility issues experienced by applicants attempting to log in to the portal on the first day.

The Commission urged all applicants to adhere strictly to the detailed login instructions provided on its official website, www.lslgsc.com.ng. Candidates are to access the test via the Services tab using compatible browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.

To log in, applicants must enter their username in the format: Name/LGSC/State of Origin (e.g., Emeka/LGSC/Osun), and their password should be the last 10 digits of their registration number, excluding the prefix.

Upon successful login, candidates will be redirected to their CBT dashboard to begin the test. The LGSC emphasized that applicants must not refresh or close their browser once the test begins, as this will automatically terminate the session.

All participants are advised to ensure a strong internet connection and take the test in a quiet, undisturbed environment to maximize performance.

The Commission appreciates applicants’ patience and cooperation, reaffirming its commitment to a transparent, inclusive, and seamless recruitment process.
