The Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa Support Group for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Re-election has congratulated the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa CFR, Rtd, on his recent conferment as Southern Kaduna Grand Commander by traditional rulers of Southern Kaduna.

The National Coordinator of the Group, Chief Ebiki Seimieyesighe Faithfull Hassan, a former Chairman of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, described the Minister as “a dependable ally to President Tinubu and a symbol of national unity, discipline, and service.”

Chief Hassan who spoke through the Director of Media & Publicity, Dr. Piriye Kiyaramo, in Port Harcourt, on Monday said the traditional title and prestigious award were well deserved in recognition of General Musa’s outstanding leadership, distinguished service to the nation, and unwavering commitment to the progress, unity, and development of Southern Kaduna and Nigeria at large.

While congratulating him on this noble honour, Chief Hassan prayed God to grant him more wisdom and courage as he pilots the affairs of national defence. “This recognition will inspire even greater accomplishments and continued service to humanity,” he stated.

The Group is a nationwide grassroots mobilization platform established to mobilize for Continuity: Build support across Nigeria for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election, anchored on the administration’s focus on security, economic reform, and national cohesion.

Strengthen Civil-Military Relations: Highlight the Armed Forces’ role under General Musa’s leadership in restoring peace, protecting national infrastructure, and supporting civil authority. Leverage the Minister’s profile as a unifying figure from Southern Kaduna to bridge ethnic and regional divides and deepen dialogue and development across all geopolitical zones.

Empower Grassroots Leaders: Engage former and serving local government officials, traditional institutions, and youth groups to drive voter education and issue-based politics ahead of 2027.

The Group maintains that General Musa’s stewardship at the Ministry of Defence aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, with security and stability as the foundation for national development.
