Ice Prince arrested for allegedly assaulting police officer

Rap act Ice Prince Zamani has been arrested for assaulting a police officer in the wee hours of Friday, September 2, 2022.

Lagos police spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin announced this on Friday morning via his official Twitter handle.

According to Hundeyin, the former Chocolate City signee was stopped by the police for driving without license plates and he abducted the police officer after agreeing to go to the station.

“At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station.

“He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river.

“He has been arrested and would be arraigned today,” Hundeyin stated.
