Tributes have continued to pour in following the death of Toba Ajiboye, popularly known as Ijaya and Original Solution, with family, friends and supporters remembering him for his philanthropic activities and community service.

Ajiboye, who was also a member of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), was widely described by admirers as a compassionate and generous individual who devoted much of his time and resources to assisting people in need.

According to supporters, he sponsored the education of more than 100 children and provided financial and material assistance to single mothers, widows, widowers, visually impaired persons, religious leaders and families from different ethnic and religious backgrounds. They said he often offered help quietly, without seeking public recognition.

Beyond his charitable work, Ajiboye was known for his involvement in community security initiatives. Supporters said he played a significant role in efforts to combat crime and improve safety in areas including Mushin, Idi-Oro and Fadeyi in Lagos. They credited him with contributing to peace-building efforts in communities that had experienced security challenges.

The circumstances surrounding his death have also generated reactions. Some of his associates alleged that misinformation and false rumours contributed to events leading up to his passing. Those claims, however, have not been independently verified.

As news of his death spread, tributes describing him as courageous, humble and selfless flooded social media, with many recalling his impact on individuals and communities.

“Toba Ajiboye lived a remarkable and inspiring life,” one tribute read. “His legacy of service, courage and compassion will continue to inspire generations.”

Supporters have called for his contributions to society to be remembered, saying his commitment to helping others and promoting peace should remain part of his enduring legacy.

Ajiboye is survived by family members, friends and numerous beneficiaries of his humanitarian efforts, who continue to mourn his passing while celebrating the life he lived.
