In a significant breakthrough for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Alhaji Sulaiman Jimoh, a notorious drug cartel leader in Lagos, has been apprehended. Temo’s arrest marks a critical victory in the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in Nigeria. The NDLEA’s diligent efforts led to the seizure of illegal substances valued at billions of naira, striking a major blow to the operations of the cartel. This arrest underscores the agency’s commitment to eradicating the scourge of drug trafficking and its associated criminal activities within the country.

According to NDLEA spokesperson, the operation was meticulously planned and executed, highlighting the agency’s enhanced intelligence and operational capabilities. The intercepted shipments, which were poised for distribution across various locations, included substantial quantities of high-value narcotics.

Alhaji Sulaiman Jimoh, who has been a prominent figure in the drug trafficking underworld for years, is now facing a litany of charges related to drug trafficking and possession of illegal substances. His arrest is expected to lead to further investigations and possible arrests of other members of his cartel.

The NDLEA has reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining public safety and health by continuing to target and dismantle drug trafficking networks. This operation serves as a stern warning to other drug traffickers that the agency is resolute in its mission to bring them to justice.

In a statement, the Chairman of the NDLEA praised the efforts of the officers involved in the operation, stating that their unwavering commitment and bravery have significantly contributed to this landmark success. The agency also called on the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to drug trafficking to assist in the ongoing efforts to cleanse the nation of this menace.
