Manchester City will be the most represented club in this summer’s 2026 FIFA World Cup across North America, as 19 players from the blue side of Manchester represent their respective countries in the tournament.
The figure is not only the greatest of any club in English football but also the highest of any team globally.
According to the statistics, ten or more players from 17 clubs are competing in the World Cup. The list also revealed that five of those clubs are from the Premier League.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are tied for second place with 17 players apiece who previously played for them before joining their national sides for the competition. Only a few days have passed since the French team defeated Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final.
Bayern Munich, the German champions, come in second with 18 players, while Barcelona completes the top five with 15.
A number of other teams also make significant contributions to the pool of talent for the World Cup. Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Atletico Madrid of Spain, and Crystal Palace and Manchester United each have twelve players.
Liverpool is a notable participant in the event with eleven players alongside Borussia Dortmund from the Bundesliga and Galatasaray of Turkey.
Slavia Prague, AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Real Madrid, and Fenerbahce round out the group of teams with ten or more players.
