Nollywood Actor Ijoba Lande Forgives Cheating Wife but Refuses Reconciliation

In a recent interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Nollywood actor Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, revealed that he has forgiven his cheating wife, Darasimi. However, he emphasized that his forgiveness does not mean he will accept her back into his life.

Lande cited religious reasons for his decision to forgive Darasimi, stating that he wants to make heaven and have his sins forgiven by God. “I won’t accept her back, but for me to make heaven and for God to forgive all my sins, I will forgive her. She has done her own, I forgive her, but it’s gone,” he said.

This development comes after Lande’s public allegations that his estranged wife had cheated on him with over 20 men, including fellow actor Baba Tee. Baba Tee initially denied the allegations but later admitted to getting intimate with Darasimi, claiming he was unaware of her marital status.

In response to the allegations, Darasimi denied sleeping with Baba Tee, instead claiming that she only sat on his lap while naked during a ‘Truth or Dare’ game at his residence. Despite her denial, the incident has sparked widespread controversy and debate.

Lande’s decision to forgive Darasimi but refuse reconciliation highlights the complexities of relationships and the challenges of overcoming infidelity. While forgiveness is a crucial step in the healing process, it is clear that trust has been irreparably broken in this case, leading Lande to draw a firm boundary.
