The administration of Olusegun Odunmbaku hosted a project stakeholders workshop with local and international development partners tagged “Support For Project Preparation For Urban Progress” to address climate change gap and optimally energize public facilities across schools and healthcenters in Ojodu LCDA.
As a government that values multi-stakeholder approach for driving development effectiveness, to maximize the effectiveness of all forms of partnership and co-operation for development for the shared benefits of its people has necessitated the collaboration between Ojodu LCDA and it’s partners to improve operational capacity of public facilities by optimizing renewable energy system.
Held at the conference hall of Governor’s Apartments with participants from Arctic infrastructure, Intec Consulting Group and foreign partners who participated through zoom, the feasibility workshop covered all aspects of project conceptualization, formulation, design, finance and evaluation.
“At Ojodu LCDA, we are excited and look forward to how this partnership that is providing renewable energy for our schools and healthcenters can be a valuable tool in our quest for solutions to the major challenges facing our communities.” Said Olusegun Odunmbaku.
At the workshop were the SLG, Hon Olaide John Bello, Council Manager, Engr Bunmi Akintoye, MOH, Mrs Anne Okonma, HOD Environment, Sanitarian Sangolana, Supervisor For Environment, Hon Olawale AbdulSalam, HOD Works, Engr Gbolamiga Dawodu, School Administrators, Health Workers,Traditional and Community Leaders.
