President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria following a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom. The President, who had taken time off for a well-deserved rest, arrived in Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Saturday evening to a warm welcome from government officials and key aides.
This marks the end of his brief stay in the UK, where he reportedly engaged in both relaxation and light diplomatic consultations. During his absence, Vice President Kashim Shettima oversaw the day-to-day operations of the government, ensuring continuity in governance and key decision-making processes.
Upon his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, the President was received by top government dignitaries, including members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), security chiefs, and other senior officials who expressed their delight at his safe return.
President Tinubu is expected to resume his full duties immediately, with attention focused on ongoing economic reforms and security challenges facing the nation. His return comes at a critical time as Nigerians look forward to further developments in the implementation of his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at driving national growth and stability.
The President is also expected to meet with key stakeholders in the coming days to discuss pressing national issues and reassert his administration’s commitment to delivering on its campaign
promises.
