On Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, Fuji music maestro Saheed Osupa hosted the inaugural Friends of Osupa Exclusive White Agbada Party, a grand event that brought together the crème de la crème of the Yoruba Nollywood industry. Held in Lagos, the all-white-themed Agbada party was a heartwarming tribute to the dedication and contributions of veteran thespians who have left an indelible mark on the Yoruba film industry.

A Celebration of Legacy and Culture

Saheed Osupa, speaking passionately about the event, stated, “It is a privilege to celebrate these iconic individuals who have worked tirelessly to promote and grow the Yoruba Nollywood space. The event was attended by an array of Yoruba Nollywood legends, including Oga Bello, Baba Wande, Iya Rainbow, Iya Awero, Ogogo, Yinka Quadri, Peju Ogunmola, Lola Idije, Madam Saje, and Dele Odule. Each of these icons received an award recognizing their lifelong commitment to the growth of Yoruba Nollywood, along with a generous gift of ₦500,000 each.

A session of prayers was held, led by Sheikh Albarizy Salaty alongside three other Alfas (Muslim clerics), in honor of the late Barrister, the founder of Fuji music. Guests were also treated to an array of thrilling performances from artists such as Mudasax Aljiyally, Arole Zambo, Idris Aloma (Obalola), Ishola Saridon 2 Kamoru, Kehinde Oriyomi, Muri Thunder, and Queen Tosin Eniba.
