Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has candidly shared that managing his wife’s allowance is the most challenging aspect of their marriage.

During an interview on Pulse Fun Facts, where couples are asked questions about their relationship, Seun’s wife, Yetunde Kuti, posed a thought-provoking question: “What is the most challenging thing you have endured in our relationship?”

Seun Kuti responded with a mix of humor and honesty, revealing that his wife’s monthly allowance is exceptionally high. “My wife’s allowance is very high. Seven figures monthly. That’s challenging because I have to work so hard for it and it’s not easy. It’s very, very high. I must have been under duress when I negotiated it,” he remarked.

The singer’s revelation highlights the financial commitments and sacrifices that can come with marriage, even for a successful artist like Kuti. His openness about the challenges of balancing work and personal life offers a glimpse into the realities behind the scenes of their relationship.

Despite the financial strain, Seun Kuti’s dedication to meeting these commitments underscores his love and commitment to his wife. This candid moment not only entertained viewers but also sparked discussions about the complexities of marital finances and the importance of honest communication in relationships.
