A social gathering turned into a double murder when a dispute over an outfit escalated into deadly violence. Mrs. Ndlovu had been widely complimented on her clothing at a farewell event and shared photos of herself on WhatsApp.

Upon seeing the images, her husband, Mr. Ndlovu, confronted her. When a colleague attempted to intervene, Mr. Ndlovu allegedly drew a firearm and shot the colleague dead, before immediately turning the weapon on his wife, killing her as well. Mr. Ndlovu subsequently drove to a police station and surrendered.

The community is in shock over the tragedy. This incident forcefully underscores the devastating consequences of domestic violence and the urgent necessity for interventions like mental health support and conflict resolution to prevent fatal acts of unchecked rage.
