The President responded to the appeal on Saturday, referring to it as “abusive” and requesting its dismissal.

He firmly stated that the appellants failed to provide adequate evidence to support their claims and arguments presented during the tribunal.

President Tinubu asserted that the tribunal’s decision to uphold his “` election was based on

He emphasized, “The appellants have not given any valid reason for this honorable court to question the lower court’s findings, which were rooted in the law and showcased scholarly merit.”

He urged the Supreme Court to affirm the lower court’s decision and dismiss the appeal in its entirety, citing its lack of merit and good faith.

This appeal by President Tinubu follows Atiku Abubakar and the PDP’s submission of a 35-ground notice of appeal, alleging serious errors and misrepresentations in the tribunal’s findings, resulting in a miscarriage of justice.

The appellants are seeking the Supreme Court’s intervention to nullify the entire verdict of the tribunal.
