[PROTOCOLS].

There comes a moment in the life of every nation when progress must not only be pursued but also paused to be honoured. Today marks such a moment. We are not merely counting the years; we are weighing the impact. This gathering is a reflection of a renewed vision, an affirmation to leadership that chose boldness in the face of turbulence. Despite the challenges, progress has not only emerged, it has endured, and it deserves to be celebrated.

1. It is with deep pride, immense gratitude, and a profound sense of national responsibility that I welcome you to this historic mid-term celebration, themed: *“Two Years of Impact: Honouring Mr. President and the Voices of Renewed Hope.”* This is more than an event, it is a declaration! A tribute to bold leadership, sustained advocacy, and the collective resolve of countless Nigerians working tirelessly to shape a better tomorrow. While we may not have arrived yet, we have certainly turned the corner. The light at the end of the tunnel is now visible. This is a gathering of truth-tellers, not praise-singers, witnesses to the extraordinary progress underway in Nigeria.

2. Under the visionary leadership of our esteemed President, *His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR*, today’s gathering brings together top government officials, civil societies, the private sector, and patriotic Nigerians, both at home and abroad, in a profound moment of reflection, renewal, and dedication to the continued growth and prosperity of our great nation, Nigeria. We celebrate vision. We celebrate resolve. Most importantly, we celebrate positive impact.

3. In two short years, this administration has achieved significant milestones across critical sectors, a deliberate and strategic march toward national transformation. These accomplishments span economic reform, infrastructure, education, security, and foreign investment, demonstrating the Renewed Hope Agenda in action. Please permit me to highlight twelve key milestones that capture the breadth and impact of this transformational leadership.

a. Over 900,000 beneficiaries of the Presidential Loan and Grant Scheme

b. More than 500,000 students supported through the Student Loan Scheme

c. Clearance of $10 billion in foreign exchange debt

d. Over 440 ongoing road projects, covering 2,700 km of superhighways

e. GDP growth reaching 3.84% in Q4 2024 — the highest in three years

f. Minimum wage increased to ₦70,000

g. Neutralisation of 13,500 terrorists, significantly boosting national security

h. Securing of $50 billion in new foreign direct investment

i. Foreign exchange reserves rising from $3.99 billion (2023) to $23.11 billion (2024)

j. Unlocking of $8 billion in oil and gas investments

k. Enactment of four ground-breaking tax reform bills

l. The establishment of five new Regional Development Commissions

4. These achievements are not accidental. They are the result of courageous leadership and principled governance. President Tinubu’s administration is not one of convenience, but of consequence. While the reforms have been bold and often difficult, true leadership seeks not applause but results. Today, we are seeing the early signs of economic stability, institutional reforms, and renewed public confidence. This is leadership anchored in the belief that Nigeria must come first.

5. As someone who served as Director of the Diaspora Directorate during the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign in 2023, I am proud to stand before you. I travelled across continents in support of this administration, and I can confidently say that I do not regret a single mile travelled, nor a single word spoken in its defence. What we have witnessed in just two years is validation of that campaign’s promise.

6. When the campaign ended, many paused. But for us, it was only the beginning. Our team evolved into a dedicated engine of support for the Renewed Hope agenda, continuing to engage strategically within Nigeria and in the Diaspora. We initiated several support initiatives, including the Global Virtual Town Hall Conferences, chaired by Amb. J.K. Adebola, a weekly platform that has since hosted over 80 top government functionaries, including more than 20 Federal Ministers, numerous heads of MDAs, and leading technocrats, engaging Nigerians transparently every Saturday from 4 to 6 PM. Good governance, after all, is not a monologue. It is a dialogue. And the Renewed Hope Agenda is listening.

7. Our efforts go beyond the digital space. In November 2024, at this very venue, we hosted the official book launch of “The Architect of Renewal: The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Story” in honour of Mr. President. Though he was away on official duty in Brazil at the time, his presence was powerfully felt through the representation of the Campaign Council’s Director General, His Excellency Senator S. Bako Lalong.

8. This current mid-term celebration continues the national momentum. It is not solely about the President, but also about the many Nigerians, individuals, institutions, and advocates who have upheld and amplified the message of Renewed Hope. Hope is no longer a slogan; it has become a duty. And today, we honour those who have carried that responsibility with integrity and purpose.

9. Let me be unequivocal: when the Independent National Electoral Commission eventually gives the signal, and if entrusted with similar roles again, I will answer the call. I will return to the road. But this time, I will not travel armed with a manifesto and promises alone. I will be fortified by a treasury of facts, a catalogue of reforms, and the confidence that comes from real, measurable progress. Our next campaign will not be built on dreams; it will be powered by the positive deliveries in the first term of this administration.

10. Just a week ago, the leadership of the National Assembly, the Progressive Governors’ Forum, and the APC’s National Working Committee passed a resounding vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. However, one critical constituency, the Nigerian Diaspora, has yet to formally add its voice.

11. Today, I rise to move a motion on behalf of Nigerians in the Diaspora. A motion rooted in belief, patriotism, and sustained hope: That we, the Diaspora community, formally endorse and pledge our support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, to seek and secure a second term in office in 2027. This reflects our confidence in their leadership and our unparalleled commitment to a greater Nigeria.

12. The motion has been moved and seconded. The Nigerian Diaspora stands united and our support for Renewed Hope endures.

13. This is more than a celebration; it is a call to deepen our national engagement, strengthen our unity, and recommit to inclusive growth and overall prosperity. The President has led! The team has delivered! It is now up to the people to believe, and together, to build. The future is not something to await; it is something we must create together.

14. Thank you all for your presence, your support, your belief in Nigeria, and for being proud voices of Renewed Hope.

15. May God bless you.
May God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
May God bless the All Progressives Congress (APC).
And may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Thank You.

Message delivered at Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja, Nigeria to mark the 2nd year anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in power.
