AGBOYI-KETU LCDA CHAIRMAN PRESENTS 2026 “BUDGET OF A NEW DAWN”

The Legislative Chamber of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area was agog with activity as the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Mrs.) Adetola Adunni Abubakar, formally presented the 2026 Proposed Budget, aptly christened the “Budget of a New Dawn,” to the Legislative Arm of the council.

The historic session drew an impressive array of dignitaries and stakeholders from across political, traditional and community spheres, underscoring the broad confidence in the Chairman’s visionary and people-centred leadership. Among those in attendance were the Agboyi-Ketu Apex Leader, Pa Stephen Adeola Oyedele, represented by Hon. Taju Akinyemi; the Pioneer Chairman, Hon. Dr. Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke; the Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly for Kosofe Constituency II, Hon. Femi Saheed; and the Member of the Federal House of Representatives for Kosofe Federal Constituency, represented by Hon. Agoro.

Also present were leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by Hon. Sunday Odekomaya, executives of Community Development Associations (CDAs) and Community Development Committees (CDCs), members of the council’s management and staff, as well as the Immediate Past Chairman, Hon. Dele Oshinowo.

In her address, Hon. Abubakar reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, accountability and sustainable development. The resounding support from stakeholders reflected growing admiration for her transparent, strategic and transformative approach to governance, positioning Agboyi-Ketu LCDA firmly on the path of progress and shared prosperity.
