The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, today formally submitted his nomination form at the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja amid a massive show of political strength and solidarity from prominent party leaders, members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), associates, and loyalists.

Dr. Hamzat’s arrival at the APC headquarters drew excitement from party faithful and supporters who gathered in large numbers to witness the symbolic political exercise, which many described as a demonstration of his growing influence and acceptance within the ruling party.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied by an array of influential political figures and stakeholders, including Hon. James Faleke, Hon. Toyin Fayinka, GAC menbers,  Senator Ganiyu Solomon and former Minister of State for Defence Musiliu Obanikoro, alongside other party stalwarts.

Political observers described the strong entourage as a clear indication of the widespread support and confidence Dr. Hamzat continues to enjoy among influential APC stakeholders in Lagos and beyond.

Supporters at the venue hailed Dr. Hamzat as a seasoned administrator, accomplished technocrat and loyal progressive whose contributions to governance and public service have remained impactful over the years.

They noted that his role in advancing reforms in education, innovation, infrastructure, and public sector administration in Lagos has earned him admiration across different political and professional circles.

The atmosphere at the APC secretariat was electrifying as chants, solidarity songs, and expressions of support filled the air while party loyalists reaffirmed their commitment to the progressive ideals of the APC.

The submission of the nomination form is widely seen as another important milestone in Dr. Hamzat’s political journey and a significant moment that further reinforces his standing as the popular candidate of note within the ruling party.
