The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN, received in audience Ambassador J.K. Adebola, MNIM, MCIM, Chairman, Renewed Hope, United Kingdom & Chief Host, Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference, alongside  Hon. Nick Apata, Chairman, Renewed Hope Canada, at his office in Abuja.

The courtesy visit, which focused on strengthening Diaspora engagement and deepening support for national development, was described as fruitful and forward looking.

Chief Keyamo, who warmly received the delegation, praised their patriotic efforts in galvanising support for the administration and promoting positive national discourse through the Renewed Hope Global platform.

“I appreciate the commitment of Nigerians in the Diaspora who have remained engaged and supportive of the government’s vision. The Renewed Hope Global Conference has become an effective channel of connecting with our people abroad and ensuring transparency in governance,” minister stated.

During the visit, key national issues were discussed, especially around aviation development, youth empowerment, and strategic Diaspora collaborations. The minister emphasised that the government remains open to constructive ideas from well-meaning Nigerians both at home and abroad.

In his remarks, Ambassador Adebola thanked the minister for the warm reception and restated the commitment of the Renewed Hope Global Conference to national progress.

“We are proud of the steps this administration has taken in critical sectors. This visit is part of our ongoing effort to build bridges and strengthen ties between government and Nigerians in the diaspora. We believe in the vision of President Tinubu and we are here to show our support,” he said.

Hon. Nick Apata also lauded the minister for his responsiveness and open door policy, noting that Nigerians abroad are eager to contribute more significantly to nation building.

It will be recalled that Chief Keyamo featured as a special guest at the Renewed Hope Global Virtual Conference in 2024, where he engaged directly with Nigerians across continents, highlighting the administration’s roadmap for the aviation sector.

The Renewed Hope Global Conference continues to serve as a vital platform for encouraging dialogue, promoting policy advocacy, and bridging the gap between the government and its citizens globally.
