The Directorate of Diaspora Matters of the Tinubu-Shettima/Sanwo-Olu-Hamzat Independent Campaign Council ICC, has promised their presidential candidate a block votes of One Million at the forthcoming Presidential elections slated for February 2023.

The assertion was made during a meeting held on Wednesday, 25th January 2023 at the Raddison Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

Reasons for the pledge arises simply because the directorate has a strong belief that the All Progressives Congress APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has qualities, ideals, and dreams for the betterment of Nigeria that put him far ahead of other contenders for the county’s exalted seat.

The Directorate said the Campaign Council headed by the incumbent council chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area in Lagos, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, decided given what Tinubu represented and his manifesto said the APC candidate would bring about a better and more developed Nigeria.

At meeting were Engr. Bola Babarinde, Chairman APC South Africa Chapter/ Deputy Director ICC Diaspora Directorate (Africa), Princess Adesola Haastrup, Deputy Director (USA), Mr. Olamiposi Folaju, Deputy Director, Mrs Ololade Mariam Ariyo, Chairperson APC Republic of Ireland, Member ICC Disapora Directorate, Mr. Lawal Pedro SAN, Director ICC Legal Directorate.
