.….. Distributes Another Set Of POS Machines To Lucky Beneficiaries….

The Olusegun Odunmbaku administration in Ojodu LCDA has taken a significant step towards bolstering financial inclusion in its community by collaborating with Point of Sale (POS) operators and distributing POS machines to deserving beneficiaries.

Hon Segun Odunmbaku had earlier distributed 60 POS Machines with cash incentives as part of his one year in office activities aims to empower residents with convenient and secure payment options, thereby fostering economic growth and development through financial regulation and inclusion.

As part of this initiative, the administration identified and selected lucky beneficiaries to receive twenty- five POS machines free of charge in its second phase. These beneficiaries, carefully chosen from various segments of the community, include small business owners, market traders, artisans and entrepreneurs.

Secretary To The Local Government, Hon Olaide John Bello who represented the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA at the event said the distribution of POS machines to beneficiaries signifies the LCDA’s commitment to promoting financial inclusivity and empowering individuals to participate more actively in the formal economy.

He further said that Ojodu LCDA is equipping the beneficiaries with the tools necessary to accept electronic payments and is dedicated to implementing innovative solutions that enhance the quality of life for its residents and stimulate economic development.

Speaking on the initiative, they Chief Of Staff, Mr Dapo Adeoye expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with POS operators and the distribution of POS machines. He emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to drive financial inclusion and urged residents to take advantage of the opportunities provided.

Also at the event were Revenue Chairman, Mr Olusola Adeleye, Project consultant, Otunba Tony Oshoma, Mrs Tukali Lawson
and Mr Bakare Abiodun of Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agent of Nigeria, Lagos State.
