Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham has agreed terms with Serie A side AS Roma, and will fly to Italy this morning to have a medical and complete a transfer on Monday. Abraham has been told he can leave Stamford Bridge.
- As earlier reported, Arsenal were reportedly leading the way in the race to sign the striker, but at the last minute the player opted against moving to a rival Premier League side and Jose Mourinho’s Roma appear to be the striker’s new preferred option.
It is understood that Abraham will sign a five year contract in Rome, earning a reported 200,000 euros per week at his new club, and will be the long term replacement for Edin Dzeko, leading the line at the Roman side.
