AFCON: Nigeria Swap Top Spot With Guinea-Bissau After Defeat.

Nigeria have lost top spot in Group A of the 2024 AFCON qualifying competition. This haopend after rhe Super Eagles suffered defeat of 1-0 from Guinea-Bissau on the 24th of March 2023.

<span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif"Mama Balde was able to slot in a goal for Guinea-Bissau in the first half of the game which stands throughout the match, the Super Eagles men dominated the second half but failed to find an equalizer.

Regarding the defeat for Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau are now on top of Group A with 7 points, while Nigeria have six points after three matches and in three days time both sides will face each other again.
