Grammy-winning singer Wizkid has stated the force that drives him to thrive better.
The globally celebrated superstar, during a live video chat with Tony Elumelu Foundation on the ‘TELiveSeries’ on ‘Life as an African Entrepreneur’, monitored by parrotreporters.com explained how the external pressure to constantly have to prove oneself impacts on him.
Explaining, Big Wiz wittily said ‘underestimation’ more than anything else fuels his drive to outshine himself every time people doubt his capabilities.
He noted he enjoys it whenever people underestimate him as that acts as a catalyst which propels him to outdo himself thereby, silencing his critics in the process.
“That fuels me, you know; more than anything in the world. Because I love it when people underestimate me. because then, I come there and show you that I can. So, that fuels me a lot,” the “Made in Lagos” singer said.
