On Wednesday 5th of April 2023, the Federal Capital Territory High Court, has ordered Julius Abure to desist from parading himself as the National Chairman of the Labour Party. Justice Hamza Muazu of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory placed the ban on the Chairman and three other national excos from parading themselves as national officers of the Labour Party.
Those involved in the ban include the National Secretary of the party, Farouk Ibrahim; national organising secretary, Clement Ojukwu; national treasurer, Oluchi Opara and Julius Abure himself.
