In celebration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, the Federal Government has officially declared Tuesday, October 1, 2024, a public holiday. This announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on Saturday, in a statement issued by Dr. Magdalene Ajani, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior.
In his message, Tunji-Ojo extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians both at home and abroad, recognizing their unwavering resilience, hard work, and commitment to the nation’s progress. He emphasized that the sacrifices made by citizens, particularly in these challenging times, will not be forgotten and will pave the way for a brighter future.
