The Governor in his welcome speech  assured the Minister that Lagos will be a great host in November for the global event and that the month of November is filled with events for arts and culture in Lagos as during the month, Lagos will be hosting the National Festival of Arts and Culture in collaboration with National Council for Arts and Culture as well as commissioning the J.K Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History.

He further said “The UNWTO global conference will be the crescendo of the whole month. We will be using the opportunity to showcase some of our best in the class of arts. This is to ensure that we utilise what we have not only for the development of our State and the country, but also to give our teeming youths opportunities to flourish, using their God-given talents.”
