Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku has been congratulated by the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA on his investiture as an awardee of the National Honours Award.
The Mayor of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku who is also the scion and exact replica of the Cardinal took out time to felicitate with his father who has been honoured and awarded as Member Of the Order Of the Federal Republic (MFR) by President Buhari at an investiture ceremony in Abuja today.
Hon. Segun Odunmbaku said “on behalf of the great people of Ojodu LCDA, I hereby congratulate our Leader and Father, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku as he gets conferred with the National Honours Award as Member Of the Order Of the Federal Republic (MFR) by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja today.”
He also said “Cardinal James Odunmbaku is a member of the Governors Advisory Council and frontline religious leader who has contributed immensely and immeasurably to political, theological and communal development in Lagos State and beyond which makes the recognition and nomination for the national honour worthy and meriting.”
The elated Chairman in the statement said that the people of Ojodu are proud and honoured to have such a prominent member and revered leader in the community that also serves as patron and mentor to many individuals and organisations across Nigeria become celebrated tremendously and meritoriously by the society and Nation for his unflinching and undiminished service to God and humanity.
