President Tinubu Approves New Appointments To TETFund Board

In a significant move aimed at enhancing the governance of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of seven distinguished Nigerians to its board. The new appointments are poised to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Fund, which plays a critical role in supporting and developing the country’s tertiary education sector.

1. Alhaji Aminu Masari has been appointed as the Chairman of the board. His extensive experience and leadership in public service are expected to guide TETFund towards achieving its mission of improving the quality of education in Nigeria’s higher institutions.

2. Senator Sani Danladi joins the board as a Member. His legislative background and commitment to educational development will contribute valuable insights into the Fund’s strategic direction.

3. Mr. Sunday Adepoju, a new Member of the board, brings with him a strong background in educational management, which will support TETFund’s efforts in funding and overseeing tertiary education projects.

4. Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, also appointed as a Member, is known for his contributions to educational and community development, and will play a crucial role in shaping the Fund’s policies and initiatives.

5. Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu joins as a Member. Her expertise in educational administration and advocacy will be instrumental in driving the Fund’s mission forward.

6. Mr. Turaki Ibrahim is appointed as a Member. His background in finance and administration is expected to strengthen the board’s oversight of TETFund’s resources and programs.

7. Mr. Aboh Eduyok, the final Member appointed, has a robust background in public policy and education, promising to contribute effectively to the Fund’s strategic goals.

These appointments are expected to bring a fresh perspective and renewed energy to the TETFund board, enhancing its capacity to support Nigeria’s higher education institutions effectively.
