Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has adopted Hon. Ahmed Wase a member from Plateau State as his running mate in his quest to become the Speaker in the National Assembly.

According to the Director-General of Femi Gbajabiamila Campaign Group, Abdulmumeen Jibril, after wide consultation with stakeholders the group has resolved to settle for Hon. Ahmed Wase as running mate in the Ninth Assembly.

He said “In the last six weeks since we started our activities, we have applied a different kind of modest to check our numbers and to weigh our numbers and all the instances where we applied different options and different practices that are scientifically verifiable. We have arrived at a very comfortable number that will win us election”

Abdulmumeen said that the group enjoyed overwhelming support from opposition camps of Peoples Democratic Party and other parties with large number of members and the team of Gbajabiamila/Wase will run an all-inclusive house of representatives that will accommodate all shade of opinions.
