The Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon Segun Odunmbaku today hosted the APC Southeast Women representatives at the council secretariat in Okeira -Ogba at a meeting which was centered around issues regarding mobilisation of the Igbo community to deliver votes for the APC in the coming elections which had the APC LGA party chairperson, Alhaja Stella Kokumo in attendance.

Hon Segun Odunmbaku in his speech to the party women appreciated thier efforts and contributions towards the party over time while speaking about the development strides of the APC at all levels of government that has made the party the best campaign for and to vote for on the ballot.

The mayor highlighted the development strides of his administration in the delivery of 24 hour Primary Health Centers and community roads across wards to bring about socioeconomic development to Ojodu LCDA while pledging his commitment to ensure peaceful coexistence and inclusiveness of all ethnic groups in the programmes of his government.

He also emphasized to the APC southeast women representatives about working in tandem with the zonal and ward levels of the party for harmonious working relations that would deliver the party and it’s candidates for electoral victory in the coming elections.

The LGA party chairperson, Alhaja Stella Kokumo advised the women to work closely with the zonal and ward hierarchy of the party, emphasized that Ojodu LCDA is friendly with the Southeast community and always carrying them along especially in the distribution of welfare packages and empowerments.

In the spirit of solidarity, Alhaja Kokumo gave out her contacts to the women so as to establish unhindered access to her office while stressing that the Igbo community are legitimate stakeholders in the Lagos APC, that Lagos is the melting point of all ethnicities in the country and that all hands must be on deck to vote all APC candidates in the coming elections.

Representatives of the southeast women across the wards thanked the Mayor and party leadership for inclusivity accorded to them while promising to take the APC campaign to thier communities.
