The Labour Party has threatened to pull another movement by mobilising its members and supporters, known as Obidients, to occupy offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) across Nigeria for allegedly frustrating its petition against the outcome of the just concluded 2023 presidential election.
This information was disclosed by the spokesman of the Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Yunusa Tanko, in a statement on Saturday, March 11, 2023. He accused the electoral commission of disobeying the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) which mandated they are to grant Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, access to inspect the certified true copies of materials used in the conduct of the recent election.
